SDLT

SDLT is short for Stamp Duty Land Tax.

SDLT is paid by the purchaser to the government on most property or land transactions. The amount is calculated on the purchase price or transfer value and according to various bands set by the government. See Stamp Duty Land Tax for more information or read our guide here.
