Possessory title

When the Land Registry isn’t fully satisfied as to the seller’s legal ownership of a property and entitlement to sell it, they may offer a 'possessory title'.

This is usually due to some discrepancy in the title and means that the owner is in legal possession but does not have Absolute Title.

The legal issues can seem utterly bewildering and it adds anxiety to the already stressful project of moving home. However, In-Deed's plain-English-speaking and proactive conveyancing solicitors are here to help and smooth the progress of your transaction.
