Identity check

An identity check is an online enquiry against national records to confirm that the client exists. This is not to be confused with the governmental money-laundering ID requirements and other checks that are carried out by your conveyancing solicitor.

Your lawyer will also ask you to provide certified copies of ID documentation (such as your passport or driving licence) and proof of your current address (such as a recent utility bill or bank statement).

Eager to get your conveyancing and your move under way? Why not call our friendly team at In-Deed on 0800 038 6886 for your fixed-fee quote or to instruct your experienced and accredited conveyancer? Our lines are open 7 days a week.
