An expedited transaction could be defined as a client needing a fast completion (often in less than 28 days, which is usually the requirement in an auction), or if there is a short time frame between exchange of contracts and completion.

It is important to be aware that law firms define expedited transactions differently, and that they may charge extra for this service.
